How using too much mobile phones affects people

As technology is grows quickly, mobile phone and other electronic equipment are becoming more and more popular. according to a new study from Pew Research Center. More than half (56%) of teens — defined in this report as those ages 13 to 17 — go online several times a day, and 12% report once-a-day use. Just 6% of teens report going online weekly, and 2% go online less often(Amanda). It really changed our lifestyles.Although the electronic equipments are making our lives  easier and more colourful,we can chat with other people in what’s up,watching interesting videos in facebook,we spent most of ours free time on mobile phones. But,there are lots of bad effects if you spent too much time and they can be even even affect your normal life.I think there are three main effects:Interfering with the studying, less time for family and health problems.

How many students have their phone out when they are doing homework?I think most of students do it everyday. In fact, high percentages of teens admitted that they watched TV, used social media and texted while doing homework which really has nagetive impacts on their grades in school."One of the most worrisome aspects of our findings is that in addition to affecting the quality and amount of sleep teenagers are getting, bedtime smartphone use seems to be having a negative impact on their level of alertness during the day and on their grades in school."(Jessica)Even when I’m having class,I can see there are usually some students checking on what’s up or doing something else. That really interferes with your studying, because when I have my phone away from me,I can do my homework in 1 hour but when I have my phone out,it will be more than 2 hours. The same when I was reviewing for my test.I need double time to do it because my phone took my attention.I need to check it and spend lots of time on it.

The second thing which is really serious is that people spend more time on mobile phone than with their family.I saw lots of photos of the whole family having dinner but everybody is playing with the phone. That’s really a big problem.10 years ago, when we were having dinner we just enjoyed both the food and the talking. For me,my parents are really kind about my using my mobile even when I was doing my homework. But never during dinner, because that’s the only part of the day that we can really relax and tell the interesting thing that happened today. It can be the best part of the day.

Finally, health problems are also serious. As we see,the students with glasses are getting more and more as the mobile phone becomes more and more popular. That is the problem that is easiest to find. There are still many bad impacts of using phone too much, such as less sleeping and radiation from mobile phones."Repeatedly, studies have shown that today's adolescent students are seriously sleep deprived, and that it affects their health, their mood and their safety behind the wheel," Sushanth Bhat, assistant neuroscience professor at the School of Health and Medical Sciences, and a physician at JFK Medical Center, said in the release.(Jessica)They will affect your health slowly in a really bad way,so when you grow up you will regret what you did.
Technology can change our life in both positive way and negative way, depending on how you use it.If you can use the phone as the study resource to help you study,or play games with family ,don’t spend too much time on it,so that you can develop better balance between using mobile and real life.So that you can have more time for whatever your friend, your family and yourself which can really improves your life.
